The burning thought running through the back (and front of) my mind for several weeks has been the issue of my delinquency in drafting prayer blogs.  For reasons very frustrating to me, I seem to have gotten way out of the habit of writing these.  And then I get bogged down with the thought processing of where to even begin to catch up.  For those of you who follow and faithfully pray for the work of LightBridge, Thank you!  Seriously...thank you!  Please accept my humble apology for being so incredibly delinquent in keeping you up to date.  Your prayer covering matters more than I can articulate...and it matters way more than my delinquency would indicate.

So, today I begin again at working to keep you updated.  I deeply want you know how to pray and how to join in deeper ways with the work God is doing in the various LightBridge locations.

Much has happened in the past few months.  Since my last prayer blog (sigh) in November, we have seen God do many things.  One of the most exciting has been sending our very first LightBridge missionaries to live in Cambodia.  Dante Baca and Zach Tillapaugh arrived in Phnom Penh in early February and have been working hard in language school.  They have also battled lice, worms (Zach ended up losing almost 20 pounds his first month in country), and a few stomach issues.  Thankfully, de-worming meds work, and lice shampoo helps.  Both seem to have leveled off and are really doing well!  They will wrap up language school in the next couple of weeks and then will move to our new team center near Poipet Cambodia.  This will be their home as well as the new home for teams who will join us for years (we hope) to come.

Would you please join me in praying over these young men?  Pray the language they've learned will be cemented into their minds as they begin the next stage of ministry in Cambodia.  Pray for the upcoming move to the border town of Poipet and for all the logistics required to make this move.  Finally, please pray for the many things they will need to do to prepare for the influx of teams coming the end of May through June, and beyond.  These next few months will be a busy and full season as these young men begin their ministry in Poipet.

Thank you for praying!  Thank you for reading!  I'm excited to be more consistent in sharing the ways God is working and the many ways I long for you to pray with us!

Grace,

Karla
