Just six days ago, the cavalry arrived in Cambodia! This group of missionaries from Japan and Korea (along with a college student and a US marine) jumped on flights to Cambodia, answering our cry for help. You see, we are building a team center near Poipet Cambodia and needed some serious help building 26 bunk beds. Learning of our need, these eight men decided to pay for their own flights and on-the-ground expenses to come out here to help us. Their labor, gifts and attitudes have been nothing short of amazing!
Working in the intense heat all day with hard and heavy wood, these guys have pulled together to build 26 solid bunk beds that will probably last until Jesus returns (kinda kidding, but mostly serious). They came to serve us and to serve the teams that will work here in the years to come. By doing so, they have completely overwhelmed my heart. I feel so deeply humbled and honored by their willingness to join with us in this hugely needed way!
The team of interns as well as folks from Colorado are busy now with hosting a music and arts VBS at the Minefield. They are already doing a fantastic job and the children are loving every minute of it! I'm excited to share more about the sweet things they are doing next prayer blog...
Thanks so much for continuing to pray for us. We still are not in the team center and are praying the builder finishes this week. Pray with us!!
Thanks for your hearts and care for us!
