Recognizing the plight of exploited, abused, neglected and war-ravaged orphans in Thailand and Burma, LightBridge has operated three orphanages since 2006. Through faithful sponsors, these orphans are lovingly cared for in family-style homes where they are fed, clothed, provided an education, taught about the love of their Creator and given the opportunity to become adults with enormous potential.

We began sponsorship at Jury's Orphanage in 2006. Due to the nature of the situation of these war-torn orphans, the number of children varies from time to time.
Today Jury's Orphanage is led by a young woman from Burma who is spending her life to care for these orphans and provide a place of safety and love for them.
The children at Jury's Orphanage, located along the Thai/Burma border, are war-torn orphans. They are victims of a nation that today is still unstable, violent and very poor. Some of these orphans have lost their parents due to war. Some are victims of extreme poverty and war-time danger and have been sent on their own to Jury’s Orphanage to receive an education, live in safety, be provided food, clothing, and a home.

Most were exploited on the streets of Chiang Mai, forced to sell flowers along busy intersections to provide money for their drug and alcohol addicted parents. Today 10 orphans call Blossom Home their home and all are still in school with dreams to continue on in college when they are old enough.

Through the years, several children have grown up from Huen Nam Jai and are living, working and serving Jesus in their respective fields. Today, there are five children still living at Huen Nam Jai. Through faithful sponsors and the grace of God, several adult orphans have graduated from college and now live and work in Thailand as a pastor, a teacher, a computer programmer, and a nurse. Several are in high school while others are in college studying engineering, nursing, community development and pastoral care.
