GRACE PETTIT

Grace is a 26-year-old with a heart full of passion for Jesus, children, and the nations. Originally from New Jersey, she moved to Hawaii after college to begin her teaching career. There, she taught 2nd grade in a Christian school and loved every moment of pointing young hearts toward Christ and watching their faith come alive. Most recently, she transitioned into public school where she served as a special education teacher—an experience that grew her compassion and deepened her sense of calling.

No matter where she’s teaching, Grace lights up when she’s with children. She sees them as a true gift from God and believes they hold powerful potential to shape the future. Overflowing with joy from the Lord, she thrives on building meaningful connections and sharing the Gospel in both simple conversations and big moments.

In the summer of 2023, Grace spent six weeks in a remote African village helping implement a Bible-based youth program. It was there, in the quiet and beauty of rural life, that she heard God clearly calling her to full-time missions. Through a series of divine connections, she was introduced to LightBridge International—and instantly felt at home with their heart for discipleship, empowerment, and transformation.

Grace brings with her a heart full of love, a mind full of creativity, and a willingness to follow Jesus wherever He leads. She’s thrilled to be stepping into this new season with LightBridge, eager to serve, grow, and pour out what God has so richly poured into her.
