GRACE PETTIT
MISSIONARY
Grace has a deep love for Jesus, children, and the nations. Originally from New Jersey, she moved to Hawaii after college to begin her teaching career, where she taught 2nd grade at a Catholic school and loved helping young hearts grow in both faith and confidence. She later transitioned into public school special education, an experience that stretched her compassion, deepened her understanding of God’s heart for every child, and strengthened her calling to serve children with diverse needs.
In the summer of 2023, Grace spent six weeks in a remote African village helping implement a Bible-based youth program. It was there, in the quiet beauty of rural life, that she sensed the Lord calling her into full-time missions. Through a series of God-led connections, she was introduced to LightBridge International and immediately connected with their heart for discipleship, empowerment, and transformation.
Grace now lives in Poipet, Cambodia, where she serves alongside LightBridge in ministry, discipleship, and special education initiatives. She is passionate about creating opportunities for children with disabilities, equipping teachers, building meaningful relationships, and sharing the love of Christ in both everyday moments and life-changing ones. Her greatest joy is seeing people encounter Jesus and step into the dignity, hope, and purpose God has for them.
Grace recently married her husband Jared, a Marine officer currently stationed in California, who faithfully supports her ministry and calling overseas. Together, they are committed to following wherever the Lord leads and using their lives to serve others and glorify Him.
Overflowing with creativity, compassion, and joy, Grace is grateful to be part of what God is doing in Cambodia and is expectant for all that is still to come.
