MELISSA CLAPP
Director of Comprehensive Education and Advocacy
Melissa is passionate about sharing the healing power of the gospel to those who have been exploited by human trafficking and interrupting the cycle that continues to devastate communities around the world. She joined our full-time staff in 2024, but initially felt God’s call to do work in Cambodia back in 2014 during her undergrad at Colorado Christian University while studying theology. Melissa was introduced to LightBridge through a short-term missions trip that she staffed through CCU. After working in Student Life for six years, Melissa made the transition to full-time ministry with LightBridge. Melissa now oversees our Comprehensive Education and Child Advocacy programs. In addition to this work, She is a doula and childbirth educator and has brought maternal health education to our ladies in Cambodia. The ways the Lord has intersected her passions through this calling with LightBridge serves as a daily reminder of God’s amazing grace!
